Title: Crop Ontology: Semantic Interoperability of Breeding Data
Date: 24 February 2020
Time: 3:00 PM CET (UTC + 1:00)

In this new webinar series, “All about our products and their uses,” we will present and explore the use of current ontology products developed by the members of our Ontologies Community of Practice.

During this first installment, we will look at Crop Ontology, an online resource that houses a wide variety of crop ontologies, and go over its methodology and latest updates. The webinar will also feature partner presentations about its utilization by crop breeding databases, such as the Breeding Management System of the Integrated Breeding Platform, and the online BreedBase developed by the Boyce Thompson Institute.
