The Humanitarian UAV Code of Conduct informs the safe, responsible and effective use of civilian drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in humanitarian settings. The Code was launched in 2014 by the Humanitarian UAV Network (UAViators). In 2015, dedicated guidelines were added to the Code of Conduct to provide further guidance on Data Protection, Community Engagement, Effective Partnerships and Conflict Sensitivity.
