Online database that allows visualizing seed stocks in two ways: by crop, variety and seed class and also by company producing the seed.

Description

It is an online database that allows visualizing seed stocks in two ways: by crop, variety and seed class and also by company producing the seed. The platform gathers data from seed producers, research centers and the regulatory authority. The database standardizes seed information under the same format, which facilitates sharing and transparency.

The platform aims to reduce the carryover that seed producers and other institutions might suffer during the season. This is achieved because seed producers can make public their seed (crop, variety and seed class), indicating where it is. The government then is able to browse this seed in the search engine of our online platform, getting up-to-date information about which seed is available where.
Also, the platform is conceived to reduce the workload of institutions doing use of it. For instance, managers in the headquarter offices of seed enterprises are able to get updated and real time information about sales in their processing centers. Also it is possible to generate excel and PDF reports with the data to facilitate further sharing and integration with other processes of the company.
